Tournaments at Hampton

Annual Adult Tournament 2019

We will again be running our popular Challenger Tournament which will start on 1st May 2019. Finals day will be on Saturday 29th June 2019 during the Hampton Festival when many other activities will take place alongside some great tennis. Titles contested for in the Challenger Tournament are:

  • Mens: Singles, Doubles
  • Ladies: Singles, Doubles
  • Mixed: Doubles

N.B. For any of the doubles titles, you may enter with a partner or we can find one for you.

To be eligible to participate in he Challenger Tournament:

  1. You must be a fully paid up member
  2. You must be available to play on finals day
  3. Mens first to fourth team players are excluded
  4. Ladies first team players are excluded

All matches will be the best of 3 sets with the 3rd set (if required) played as a championship tie break.

1st round losers of the Men's and Ladies singles will automatically go into a plate competition.

To enter please e-mail> stating which tournaments (excluding plate) you wish to enter by 19th April.

The Junior Full Ball tournament will also take place on Challenger Finals Day. More details on the Junior Tournament to follow.

There will also be an Open tournament commencing later in the year with an autumn finals day which is usually held in September/October. More details to follow.
